Body of one of the missing boys found in Trishuli

KATHMANDU: The body of one of the two boys, who went missing from Ghatbesi in Gajuri-5, Dhading, on Saturday, has been found.

The search for the two boys began in the Trishuli River after locals discovered clothes belonging to Unique Subedi (15) and Rhythm Roila (13) on the riverbank at around 4 pm on Saturday.

A rescue team, including divers from the Armed Police Force Nepal Disaster Management Training School in Kurintar, found Unique’s body at around 1:20 pm on Sunday, according to a press statement issued by the Armed Police Force (APF).

The body was discovered about 15 meters upstream from where the boys’ clothes were found, the statement added.

The search for the other boy, Rhythm Roila, is underway, according to APF Joint Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa.
