KATHMANDU: The bodies of two boys, who went missing while swimming in the Mardi River dam in Hemja of Pokhara-25, have been recovered.
Divers from the Armed Police Force (APF) recovered the bodies of Bishal Pariyar (14) and Bibash Pariyar (13) from Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-6 on Thursday. They had gone missing at around 1:45 pm, according to APF Joint Spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa.
“Upon receiving the information, a security team with divers from APF No. 24 Kalika Battalion, Kaski, reached the incident site. The bodies were recovered from a depth of approximately 20 feet,” Thapa added.
