‘Behuli from Meghauli’ secures 335 screens across the country

KATHMANDU: Swastima Khadka-starrer ‘Behuli from Meghauli’, which is releasing on Thursday, has secured 335 screens across the country.

The film has obtained 335 screens across multiplexes and single-screen theaters across the country, according to distributor Ashok Sharma. “Even films from big banner hadn’t received this many shows until now,” he added.

The film features Swastima Khadka and Nischal Basnet, who are also the producers, in lead roles. It is written and directed by Sajan Kafle and Akash Baral.

Along with Nischal and Swastima, the movie also stars by Basundhara Bhusal, Bijay Baral, Simran Khadka, Lokendra Lekhak, Raksha Thapa, Siru Bista, Aamir Gautam and Tika Pahari, among others.

The film presents the story of societal and familial pressure on a young woman of marriageable age and the resulting circumstances.

Produced under the banner of Black Horse Pictures and Meghauli Films, the movie has actor Bijay Baral as the casting director. It features cinematography by Narendra Mainali and choreography by Pradip Lama and Kebika Khatri. The film’s music is scored by Jayan J Waiba and Kushal Pokharel.
