KATHMANDU: Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has greeted Pushpa Kamal Dahal on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
“I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your election as the Prime Minister of Nepal, which reflects the trust and confidence reposed in your able and visionary leadership by the people of Nepal,” Hasina said in her congratulatory message. “I believe your long experience will lead Nepal to an upper plateau of prosperity.”
The Bangladesh Prime Minister also said she looks forward to working closely with Dahal to strengthen the multifaceted relationship between the two countries for the mutual benefit of the people of Nepal and Bangladesh.
“I am confident that during your term in office, the excellent bilateral relations we enjoy will further widen and deepen in all the areas of common interest and potential sectors of collaboration, particularly connectivity, trade, tourism, power, and people-to-people contacts,” she added.
Prime Minister Hasina has also invited her Nepali counterpart to visit Bangladesh at the earliest convenient time.
