Arrest warrant issued for Lamichhane

POKHARA: Kaski District Court has issued an arrest warrant for Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President and former home minister Rabi Lamichhane for an investigation into his alleged involvement in cooperative deposit misappropriation.

District Judge Krishna Jung Shah issued the warrant, according to a source at the District Police Office, Kaski.

Earlier on Friday morning, discussions about Lamichhane’s potential arrest had taken place during a meeting of the opposition parties in New Baneshwar.
