KATHMANDU: The All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), aligned with the CPN–UML, has removed its elected president, Sujan Kadariya, from his position.
A meeting of office bearers held on Monday decided to relieve Kadariya of his position and appoint the current General Secretary, Deepak Dhami, as the new president.
Kadariya, who had announced his resignation on social media on September 9 during the Gen Z protest, was formally dismissed by Monday’s meeting.
Kadariya, however, has said that the dismissal means nothing as he himself had already resigned.
The meeting also decided to appoint the current Vice President, Anjana Shivakoti, as General Secretary.
