KATHMANDU: The newly appointed ambassadors of four countries presented their credentials to President Ram Chandra Paudel on Thursday.
In separate ceremonies held at the Office of the President, the ambassadors of Egypt, Norway, Sri Lanka and Myanmar submitted their letters of credence to President Paudel.
All four countries have embassies in Nepal.
According to the Office of the President, Sherif Mustafa El-Sayed El-Diwani, Ambassador of Egypt; Dagny Mjøs, Ambassador of Norway; Ruwanthi Delpitiya, Ambassador of Sri Lanka; and U Thant Sin, Ambassador of Myanmar.
The ambassadors were escorted to the Office of the President in a ceremonial horse-drawn carriage from Hotel Dusit Princess, Lazimpat, for the ceremony.
