KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that relations between Nepal and India have always remained cordial and strong.
Prime Minister Shah made the remarks during a farewell meeting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar on Tuesday.
Srivastava is returning to India after completing his tenure.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Shah expressed special thanks to the Indian government for its support during the Rasuwa floods, landslides and other disasters.
Shah congratulated Ambassador Srivastava on completing his tenure and extended his best wishes for his future endeavors.
Ambassador Srivastava said that several development projects between the two countries had been completed during his tenure. He also expressed special thanks to the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people for their support during his stay in Nepal.
