KATHMANDU: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav met with Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Janakpurdham on Friday.
During the meeting held at the chief minister’s official residence, Yadav briefed Dahal on the provincial activities of the government.
NCP is a part of the coalition government that Yadav is leading in Madhesh.
Dahal arrived in Siraha via Janakpurdham on Thursday to attend an event. He returned to Janakpur on Thursday evening itself.
According to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the two leaders discussed the activities of the provincial government and issues related to running the government. They also discussed national politics and other contemporary issues, it added.
NCP leader and former federal minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel and Madhesh Province Finance Minister Yubaraj Bhattarai, among other leaders, also attended the meeting.
