KATHMANDU: A school teacher has been shot dead in Makalu Rural Municipality of Sankhuwasabha.
According to the District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, Narakuber Rai, 36, a teacher at Kalika Basic School at Chirkhang in Makalu-1, was shot dead on Thursday night.
“Rai, who used to live on the school premises, was shot dead when he came out of his room after the evening meal on Thursday,” said Tikamaya Rai, a fellow teacher.
Police are investigating the case.
