KATHMANDU: The NADA Auto Show 2026 kicked off at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
The annual event has brought together 53 vehicle brands, 70 auto parts and service companies, and around 11 banks and financial institutions under one roof, according to the NADA Automobiles Association.
Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav inaugurated the Auto Show amid a ceremony on Tuesday. The expo will continue till August 30.
The annual automobile exhibition features a wide range of passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles and two-wheelers. Electric vehicles (EVs) make up a significant portion of the passenger vehicle lineup.
NADA President Surendra Kumar Upreti said this year’s exhibition has been made more spacious and organized compared to previous editions.
The exhibition area has been divided into five sections: four-wheelers, two-wheelers, financial institutions, auto parts and garage equipment, and the Made in Nepal/Made for Nepal and International Business Pavilion.

A total of 24 passenger car brands are participating in the show. They include Riddara, Aion, JMEV, Tata EV, Suzuki, Deepal, Avatr, Foton, Skoda, Nammi, Changan, Proton, BYD, Geely, BAIC Nepal, Omoda, Jaecoo, Jetour, MG, GWM, Leapmotor, mHero, Skywell and Wuling.
The light commercial vehicle segment features Foton, Sokon, King Long, Higer, Farizon, Jinbei, Tata, DFSK, Kama, New New Gonow, Aucwell, Deego, Skyworth, Dongfeng, Kawei, Feidi and Ekta Motors.
Similarly, the two-wheeler segment includes Royal Enfield, Yatri, Hero, Vida, Yamaha Racing, Vespa-Aprilia, Ampere, Metai EV, Zongshen, QJ Motors, MiChe Auto and Revolt.
Tickets can be purchased through the Khalti app or via the official QR code. The entry fee has been fixed at Rs 200 for the general public and Rs 150 for students.
