KATHMANDU: Vehicular movement on the Muglin–Narayanghat road has come to a grinding halt after a landslide fell onto the road near Muglin in Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-5 of Chitwan.
According to police, the landslide fell at around 2 pm, and efforts were underway to resume traffic by clearing debris in coordination with the Department of Roads.
Meanwhile, police have requested drivers and passengers using the road to exercise necessary caution.
The Muglin–Narayangadh road, which is about 36 kilometers long, is a crucial corridor linking Kathmandu to the East-West Highway.
