KATHMANDU: One individual died after a private car caught fire in Tyanglaphant of Kirtipur Municipality on Tuesday morning
According to SP Naresh Raj Subedi of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, the driver was unable to get out after the vehicle suddenly caught fire and was found dead inside the car.
Subedi said the victim was discovered burnt and still strapped in with a seatbelt. The identity of the deceased has yet to be established.
Police say an investigation into the incident is underway.
