NEB publishes Grade 12 results; 69.75% pass exams

KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has published the results of the Grade 12 examinations.

A meeting of the board held on Friday morning decided to release the results, according to NEB Member Secretary Jung Bahadur Aryal.

A total of 69.75% of regular students passed the examinations conducted from April 27 to May 10. According to the NEB, a total of 418,170 students, including 85,929 partial students, appeared in the examinations.

The results can be checked through the board’s websites — result.neb.gov.np and neb.gov.np — as well as through Nepal Telecom’s website, SMS, IVR and USSD services.

Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-totaling by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per subject. Applications can be submitted online from 11 am on June 20 to 5 pm on June 26.

Although the government had directed the NEB to publish the results within 45 days, the board released them ahead of the deadline. Earlier, the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) were also published within 29 days.
