KATHMANDU: Five new ministers of the Lumbini Province Government were sworn in on Monday.
Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar administered the oath of office and secrecy to four ministers from CPN-UMl and one from Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) appointed on Friday on the recommendation of Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya.
According to the Office of the Province Chief, Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary has been appointed as Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives; Dilliraj Bhusal as Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Ramji Prasad Ghimire as Minister for Health; and Ratna Bahadur Khatri as Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development.
All four are from CPN-UML.
Likewise, Bhandrilal Ahir of JSP Nepal has been appointed as Minister for Internal Affairs and Law.
