KATHMANDU: Lumbini Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has reshuffled his cabinet.
Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti on Thursday appointed four ministers from CPN-UMl and one from Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal on the recommendation of Chief Minister Acharya.
From the UML, Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary has been assigned the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives. Ramji Prasad Ghimire has been appointed Minister for Health, Ratna Bahadur Khatri has been given the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, and Dilli Raj Bhusal has been given the charge of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
Similarly, Bhandari Lal Ahir of the JSP Nepal has been appointed Minister for Internal Affairs and Law. He replaces JSP’s Aadesh Kumar Agrawal in the cabinet.
Four ministers from the UML had stepped down on Wednesday.
The new ministers will be sworn in on Monday.
