KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane met India’s Minister for External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar in New Delhi on Tuesday.
In a social media post, Jaishankar said it was a pleasure to meet RSP President Rabi Lamichhane. “Our discussions focused on the India-Nepal development partnership and people-to-people ties. These have a crucial role in promoting growth and prosperity,” he wrote.
Indian External Affairs Secretary Vikram Misri was also present in the meeting.
Lamichhane is on a five-day visit to India at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Earlier in the day, he visited the BJP headquarters and interacted with senior BJP leaders.
