KATHMANDU: Prakash Adhikari from Khandbari-3 of Sankhuwasabha has been appointed Secretary of the House of Representatives.
President Ramchandra Paudel appointed Adhikari to the position on the recommendation of Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal, as per Article 106 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, 2015, on the recommendation of the Council of Nepal, 2015.
Adhikari, who took retirement as an undersecretary, has over two decades of experience in government service.
He replaces Harka Raj Rai, who was removed by President Paudel on the recommendation of Speaker Aryal on Tuesday.
