SURKHET: Rama KC, the Karnali correspondent of Himal Press, was honored by Birendranagar Municipality on the occasion of its 50th foundation day.
At a special function organized in Birendranagar, the capital of Karnali Province, on Friday, KC was honored with six other journalists.
According to the municipality, the journalists were honoured in recognition of their contribution to promoting Birendranagar through journalism and the media sector.
Mayor Mohanmaya Dhakal, Deputy Mayor Nilkantha Khanal, and Chief Administrative Officer Laxmi Prasad Baskota presented them with cash prizes and letters of appreciation.
Birendranagar Municipality was established in 1976.
