KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to launch a nationwide campaign to review the recently held House of Representatives elections as part of its program to strengthen party organization.
As decided by its Central Working Committee, the party has scheduled discussions with candidates of all 165 electoral constituencies across the country.
Issuing a statement, General Secretary Pradeep Paudel said the campaign will play an important role in conducting an overall assessment of the elections and in formulating future strategies. “The program will be held in coordination with provincial coordinators to ensure active participation of leaders at all levels,” he added.
According to the party, the provincial-level programs will be attended by Central Working Committee members, provincial office bearers, district presidents, constituency presidents, as well as candidates and members of the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies.
As per the schedule, provincial-level programs will be held on April 6 in Koshi, April 8 in Madhesh, April 10 in Gandaki, April 12 in Lumbini, April 16 in Karnali, April 18 in Sudurpashchim, and April 20 in Bagmati.
