KATHMANDU: As many as 22 paseengers were injured when a bus heading to Chitwan from Birgunj met with an accident on the East West Highway in Makwanpur district on Sunday morning.
According to the District Police Office, Mawkanpur, the bus apparently lost control and hit an electricity pole on the left side of the road near Bijauna in Manahari-7.
The injured have been referred to Chitwan for treatment, police say.
