KATHMANDU: One died, and two others were injured when two passengers collided on the Prithvi Highway in Thakre of Dhading.
According to the District Police Office, Dhading, a bus coming to Kathmandu from Dang collided with a bus heading to Rasuwagadhi from Kathmandu near Das Kilo at around 7:30 am on Sunday.
After the collision, one of the buses veered into a small eatery, killing Sujan Tamang (35) from Dhading, who was having tea. He passed away while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.
The shop owner, Khageshwar Sharma (54) from Banke, and Safalta Pulami Magar (8), who was traveling in the bus heading to Rasuwagadi, were injured in the accident.
Police have taken the drivers of both buses under control for investigation.
