KATHMANDU: The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has assigned senior leaders to oversee election campaigning across all seven provinces to strengthen coordination and monitoring ahead of the polls.
The second meeting of the Election Mobilization Committee Secretariat held on Tuesday at the party’s central office assigned the responsibilities.
According to the party, Beduram Bhusal has been appointed to supervise Koshi Province, while Agni Sapkota will oversee Madhesh Province. Rajendra Shrestha has been given responsibility for Bagmati Province, Dev Gurung for Gandaki, Pampha Bhusal for Lumbini, Pramesh Hamal for Karnali, and Ranjita Shrestha for Sudurpaschim Province.
The meeting also made important decisions regarding the mobilisation of party leaders and cadres for election campaigning. it also decided to finalize and release its election manifesto after necessary edits.
The NCP has formed a Central Publicity Committee under the leadership of Agni Sapkota. Jagannath Khatriwada and Govinda Acharya are the members of the committee.
