SURKHET: The winter session of the Karnali Provincial Assembly will convene on February 1.
A meeting of the provincial cabinet held on Friday decided to recommend that the Province Chief call the session at 1 pm on February 1, according to the Province Government Spokesperson Binod Kumar Shah.
This will be the first meeting of the Assembly since the arson and vandalism during the Genz protests of September 8 and 9 last year.
As the Assembly hall suffered damage in the fire, the Provincial Assembly Secretariat is preparing to conduct the winter session from the Information Technology Hall.
