KATHMANDU: As many as six people died when a jeep met with an accident near Jurikhet in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6 of Makwanpur on Sunday evening.
According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, the passenger jeep heading to Hetauda from Kathmandu fell about 100 meters from the narrow and winding road.
All six died while undergoing treatment in Hetauda, DSP Pushkar Bogati, the spokesperson for Makwanpur police, told Himal Press over the phone. “The condition of the three injured is serious,” he added.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
