KATHMANDU: Police have arrested six foreign nationals and three Nepalis with drugs from a 72-hour ‘underground musical party’ held at a resort in Godavari Municipality, Lalitpur.
Those arrested include Indian nationals Kevin Joseph (21), Sadiq (28), Ashwin Antu (23), and Vaishnav K Shaju (28) from Kerala, and Abhiraj Kuthadi (26) from Hyderabad. Greek national Dimitrios Kattus (21) was also among those arrested.
Police have identified the arrested Nepalis as Pushpa Raj Pariyar (30) from Chitwan, Mansun Neupane (25) from Morang, and Aditya Aryal (40) from Kathmandu.

Police say the raid was carried out based on a tip-off that drug peddling was taking place at the event.
During the operation, police seized 22.24 grams of marijuana, 61 grams of hashish, six tablets of LSD, four grams of magic mushrooms, and one tablet of MDMA.
According to police, all the accused are being investigated under the Narcotic Drugs (Control) Act, 1976, after the Kathmandu District Court granted an extension of their detention.
