KATHMANDU: Two women have been arrested on charges of killing Sushila Bomjon (32) of Dhuraphant in Kamalamai-4 of Sindhuli.
According to the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Mayarani Bomjon (59) and her daughter Mina Lama (35) were arrested on Tuesday on the charge of dousing Sushila with petrol and setting her on fire last Sunday.
Sushila was Mayarani’s daughter-in-law. Her husband is in a foreign country for employment.
Mayarani’s husbandऽ Durgaman, was injured in the incident. He has been sent to Kathmandu for treatment.
