KATHMANDU: Chhath is being celebrated in the Mithila region of Madhesh Province as well as in Kathmandu Valley and other parts of the country with great fanfare and rejoicing.
Devotees offered argha (water offering) to the setting sun on Monday evening. The four-day festival concludes on Tuesday after devotees offer argha (water offering) to the rising sun on Tuesday.
