Class 12 supplementary examinations on Sept 23 and 24

KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has published a revised schedule for the postponed Class 12 Supplementary examinations.

The exams, which were originally scheduled for September 13 and 14, were postponed after the Gen Z protest escalated last week, resulting in arson and vandalism across the country.

According to the new timetable issued by the Examination Control Office for Grades 11 and 12, the supplementary exams will now be held on September 23 and 24.

The exam for Compulsory English (0041) will take place on the first day. Likewise, students appearing for only one subject and those appearing for two subjects will also take the exam of the subject with the smaller code number on the same day. However, students appearing for both Compulsory English and Compulsory Nepali must take English on the first day and Nepali on the second day.

On the second day, students sitting for two subjects will take the exam of the subject with the larger code number.

A total of 61.17% regular students and 36.49% of partial students passed the examination held in May. A total of 511,525 students appeared in the examination.
