KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has canceled all remaining programs related to the by-election in Rupandehi-3 constituency of the House of Representatives scheduled for November 3.
Issuing a statement on Monday, the EC said that, since President Ram Chandra Paudel has dissolved the House of Representatives and announced general elections for March 5, all remaining programs of the by-election have been canceled.
The Rupandehi-3 seat of the lower house became vacant after the demise of Deepak Bohora of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) on April 1.
