KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man in Birgunj for impersonating his father during an exam.
According to DSP Kishor Lamsal, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, Parsa, Mohammad Aftab was caught from the exam hall of Thakur Ram Campus while appearing in place of his father, Mohammad Sahabuddin, in the third-semester Master of Arts examination on Nepalese Politics and Political Behavior. The exam had been scheduled from 12 pm to 3 pm.
Aftab has been taken into custody for further investigation, DSP Lamsal told Himal Press over the phone.
It has been revealed that Aftab is the son of Mohammad Sahabuddin, the regional president of Nepali Congress in Parsa-2 constituency of the House of Representatives.
