KATHMANDU: Two individuals died in a road accident in Bajura on Thursday morning.
According to the District Police Office, Bajura, Bijaura Rokaya (76) and Banchkala Rokaya (75) from Kuidi in Himali Rural Municipality-5 died on the spot when a jeep met with an accident at Tunigad.
The jeep was coming from Kuidi to the Ward-5 Office, police say.
Fifteen others traveling in the jeep were injured. Police say most of the passengers in the jeep were senior citizens coming to the ward office for renewal fo their social security allowance.
