KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, has ruled out cabinet reshuffle in the near future.
Speaking to journalists in Chitwan on Tuesday, Pandey dismissed speculation about ministerial changes as baseless. “Talk of the cabinet reshuffle is just a rumour. There has been no such discussion among the coalition partners,” he said. “I have heard these rumours too, but nothing of the sort has come from the Prime Minister or the Nepali Congress President.”
Pandey added that the current ruling coalition is expected to remain intact until the 2027 general election.
He also said that the current priority of the government is to deliver results through effective governance. “The Prime Minister has instructed all ministers to work with urgency and focus,” he added.
