Himal Press scribe Chhetri receives Media Award

KATHMANDU: Himal Press scribe Keshav Rana Chhetri has been honored with the Media Award.

Kohalpur Media House presented the award during its third-anniversary celebration in Kohalpur on Saturday in recognition of his contribution to the field of Nepali journalism for over a decade.

Kohalpur Mayor Purna Prasad Acharya, Banke district president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Naveen Giri and Editor of KohalpurToday.com Ekaraj Sharma jointly handed over the award.

Kohalpur Today has been presenting the Media Award along with honors in six other categories during its anniversary celebrations. The media house honored Bibek Oli in the regular reader category, Rakesh Dahal in the writer category, Kushal Dalami in the journalism category, Narayan Prasad Gaudel in the advisor category and newsreader Kalpana Karki in the staff category.
