Four envoys present letters of credence to President Paudel Ambassador of Bangladesh Md Shafiqur Rahman submitting his letters of credence.

KATHMANDU: The ambassadors of Bangladesh, South Africa, Angola and Argentina presented their letters of credence to President Ram Chandra Paudel during a ceremony at the Office of the President on Monday.

The Ambassador of Bangladesh, Md. Shafiqur Rahman; South Africa’s Prof. Anil Sooklal; Angola’s Clemente Pedro Francisco Camenha; and Argentina’s Mariano Augustin submitted their letters of credence during separate ceremonies, according to a press statement issued by the Office of the President.

The Ambassador of Bangladesh is based in Kathmandu, while the other three are based in New Delhi and accredited to Nepal.

The ambassadors were taken to the Office of the President for the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage from the Hotel Dusit Princess.
