KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited and the Interior Designers Association of Nepal (IDEA Nepal) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration.
As per the agreement, Global IME Bank will serve as the official bank for IDEA Nepal, a statement issued by the Class ‘A’ bank said on Thursday.
“Considering the needs of IDEA Nepal, Global IME Bank will provide banking services and facilities to all members of IDEA Nepal through its branch offices,” the bank added.
Global IME Bank has been honored as Nepal’s Best Bank in two categories under the Global Finance Best Bank Award 2024 and the Euromoney Award for Excellence 2024. Additionally, the bank has been recognized in various categories by national and international organizations.
Global IME Bank is the first private-sector commercial bank in the country with a branch network spanning all 77 districts of the country. The bank operates 352 branch offices, 385 ATM kiosks, 158 branchless banking services, 68 extension and revenue collection counters and three overseas representative offices.
Global IME also facilitates remittance inflows from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, India and Jordan, among others.
