KATHMANDU: Armed Police Force (APF) has arrested four women and one man from Thori of Parsa who were allegedly travelling to Gulf countries via India.

According to APF, a team deployed from the Thori Border Outpost (BOP) apprehended the group the group was apprehended during a security check on suspicion. They were reportedly on their way to Kuwait and Oman through illegal channels.

“Two of the women from Ilam said they were heading to Oman, while two others from Rolpa claimed they were travelling to Gulf countries via New Delhi,” APF Inspector Prem Raut told RSS agency. “We have also taken into custody Deepak Khadka of Madi-8, Chitwan, who is suspected of trying to take them to India.”
