10 secretaries transferred

KATHMANDU: The government has changed the responsibilities of 10 secretaries. A cabinet meeting held on Monday evening made the decision.

As per the decision, Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire has been transferred from the Office of the President to the Industry, Commerce and Supplies, while Kiran Raj Sharma will now take charge of the Local Service Commission. He was earlier with the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission. Similarly, Dr Dipak Kafle has been transferred from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to the Office of the President.

Chudamani Paudel will now take charge at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. He was replaced at the Office of the Prime Minsiter and Council of Ministers by Govinda Bahadur Karki, who was transferred from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

Bagmati Province Government’s Principal Secretary Mahadev Pantha will now assume new responsibility at the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission, while Raghuram Bista has been transferred from the Office of the Prime Minsiter and Council of Ministers to the Financial Comptroller General’s Office. Newly-promoted Shobhakanta Paoudel has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Gandaki Province Government.
