LUMBINI: The body of Sudeep Neupane from Butwal, who was killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir state of India, has been brought to his home in Butwal.
The body was transported by air from New Delhi to Lucknow and then by road from there to the Belhiya border. It was then brought to Butwal.
SP Ranjit Singh Rathore, the chief of the District Police Office, Rupandehi, said that the body was brought from New Delhi via the Belhaiya border point. The body has been kept at Neuapne’s residence in Manakamana Path in Kalikanagar of Butwal-11.
Sudip was shot dead in Baisaran valley of Pahalgam while he was holidaying with his mother, sister and brother-in-law.
According to family members, Sudip will be cremated at Tribeni on Thursday itself.
