KATHMANDU: Three people died in a road accident in Doti district on Wednesday morning.
A mini truck heading toward Bajhang from Dhangadhi met with an accident at around 6 am near a place called Golden on the Bhimdutta Highway in Jorayal Rural Municipality-1, according to Doti Khabar, a local publication.
One of the deceased has been identified as the driver Arjun Dhami (33) from Dahabagar in Bungal-2 of Bajhang. The identity of the remaining two has not been ascertained yet, according to the District Police Office, Doti.
The truck bringing supplies from Dhangadhi fell about 50 meters off the road, police say.
