KATHMANDU: Three children from the same family died after consuming poison in Yadukuha in Shahidnagar-5 of Dhanusha.
The three children and their mother had consumed poison on Monday night, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Dhanusha.
The deceased have been identified as Aditya (6), Akriti (4) and Aruti (2). All three died on the spot.
The mother, Pabitra Sah, is seriously ill and is receiving treatment under ventilator support at the Madhsh Province Hospital, according to SP Bhuvaneshwar Tiwari, chief of the DPO Dhanusha.
Police are investigating the case.
