Chaudhary Foundation builds drinking water facility in Nawalparasi West

KATHMANDU: Clean drinking water facilities have been arranged in Pratappur Rural Municipality of Nawalparasi West district with the support of the Chaudhary Foundation.
The drinking water project in Pratappur-9, which was in a dilapidated condition for about 13 years, has been upgraded and brought back into operation. Member of the House of Representatives, Binod Chaudhary, inaugurated the project recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhary said that access to clean drinking water is a fundamental right of citizens. “With the support of the Chaudhary Foundation, clean drinking water facilities have been arranged here. We will continue such work in the future. The government must prioritize providing clean drinking water to citizens,” he added.

The project was carried out with financial support from the Chaudhary Foundation in cooperation with the Pratappur Rural Municipality, according to a statement issued by the Chaudhary Foundation.

Chaudhary Foundation has been actively working in areas such as youth self-employment, women entrepreneurship, education, health and employment in Nawalparasi West.
