APF recovers bodies of two teenagers who went missing in Mohana River

KATHMANDU: Bodies of two teenagers, who went missing while bathing in the Mohana River at Baisghara in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-19 of Kaialli, have been recovered on Friday.

Armed Police Force (APF) said in a statement that the deceased have been identified as Dinesh Ojha (15) and Aashish Bohara (16). “Separate teams from border outposts in Lallipur and Phulbari were mobilized for search and rescue operations after receiving information about the incident,” the APF said in the statement.

According to DSP Shailendra Thapa, spokesperson for the APF, Ojha’s body was found at the same spot where he had drowned, while Bohara’s body was recovered slightly downstream.
