
KATHMANDU: The Socialist Front, comprising four opposition parties, has decided to hold a public gathering in Kathmandu on March 28.
A meeting of the Front held on Friday today decided to expedite necessary preparations to make the event grand and impactful.
Following the meeting, leader Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma told reporters that the Front is preparing to make the demonstration historic. He added that the program is being organized with the aim of ensuring the participation of thousands of people against the growing regression in the country
According to Bishwakarma, the Front has also decided to hold discussions with intellectuals, civil society, and other political parties before the demonstration. It has scheduled an interaction and consultation program with intellectuals and civil society on Saturday.
