Two dead after water tanker falls off road in Dhading

KATHMANDU: Two youths died after a water tanker met with an accident near Adamghat in Ghalchhi Rural Municipality-3 of Dhading on Wednesday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Prashant Chepang (18) and Jayaram Chepang (20), both residents of Gajuri-6.

According to DSP Prakash Hamal of the District Police Office, Dhading, the two were rushed to Gajuri Primary Health Center after the accident but succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.

The water tanker was carrying water from Adamghat to Gupteshwor Temple when it lost control while reversing and plunged approximately 500 meters down the road, police say.
