KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has congratulated Donald Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States of America.
“My warm felicitations to H.E. Mr. Donald J. Trump for assuming the office as the 47th President of the United States of America and my best wishes for the successful tenure,” President Paudel wrote in a post on X. “I hope the cordial relations, subsisting between Nepal and the United States will be further deepened and expanded in the days to come.”
Trump is the first US president in more than a century to win a second term after losing the White House.
