KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of his ministers, stating that the government has failed to meet public expectations despite being in office for five months.
Speaking during the cabinet meeting on Friday, Oli voiced his frustration, stating that visible progress has not been achieved in most ministries. “The government has not lived up to the expectations of the people. Even after five months in office, the public has not experienced tangible results,” a minister present at the meeting quoted the Prime Minister as saying. “The Prime Minister looked disappointed.”
PM Oli urged his ministers to accelerate the pace of their work to restore public confidence in the government.
“We haven’t hit rock bottom yet, but the work lacks momentum. This cannot continue,” he said. “We need to expedite our efforts and deliver results that people can feel.”
The Prime Minister also expressed dissatisfaction with the work culture of government employees.
