KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) has formally announced cash prizes for the winners and runners-up of the inaugural Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Issuing a statement on Tuesday, CAN Spokesperson Chhumbil Lama said the winner of the NPL will get Rs 11 million, while the first runner-up will take home Rs 5.1 million. Similarly, teams finishing in the third and fourth positions will get Rs 2.5 million and Rs 1.5 million, respectively.
CAN has already said that the best Nepali player of NPl will drive home a brand new Omoda E5 car.
Chitwan Rhinos is playing against Karnali Yaks in the Eliminator before table toppers Sudurpaschim Royals takes on second-placed Janakpur Bolts in Qualifier 1 on Wednesday.
