KATHMANDU: The price of petrol has gone up by Rs 2 per liter, while prices of diesel and kerosene have gone down.
Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) on Sunday raised the price of petrol by Rs 2 per liter. It, however, lowered the prices of diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 per liter each.
With the fresh adjustment, petrol will cost Rs 162 per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other major cities, while diesel and kerosene will be available for Rs 151 per liter each.
The new prices will come into effect from Sunday midnight.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, NOC said it adjusted fuel prices in line with the new price rates forwarded by its sole suppler – the Indian Oil Corporation (NOC).
