KATHMANDU: Five persons died when a jeep met with an accident in Jajarkot district on Wednesday night.
The jeep heading from Kalimati in Nalgad-5 to Katake in Nalgad-3 met with an accident near Baskute in Nalgad-3.
According to RSS news agency, the deceased have been identified as Shila Pun (65), Sharada Thapa (33), Laxmi Pun Roka (18) and her son Alochan Roka. The driver of the jeep, Indrajit Thapa (32) of Nalgad-2, also died in the accident.
Of the two injured, one is receiving treatment at a local health post.
